Slimming World Bengali Kofta Curry

(syn-free)

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    400gms lean minced beef
    2 tsp ginger
    2 cloves garlic
    1 tsp cinnamon
    2 tsp fennel seeds
    1 tsp chilli powder
    1 tsp tumeric
    2 tbsp curry powder
    500g passata or liquidised tomatoes
    1/2 cup natural fat free yoghurt
    salt and pepper 

Directions

Place beef, garlic, ginger, fennel, cinnamon and chilli in bowl and mix. Mould into walnut sized balls and set aside.

place tumeric, curry powder and passata in saucepan and bring to boil. Season and then add meat balls. simmer for 15-20 minutes turning meatballs occasionally until cooked. Remove from heat and garnish with yoghurt.
